Lowe's Celebrates 100 Years | Nominate a Project in Your Hometown
Lowe’s is turning 100! To celebrate our centennial, today we’re launching our 100 Hometowns initiative – a $10 million commitment to complete 100 projects across the nation to strengthen the communities we serve.
As you and your team know firsthand, making a difference in the places where we live and work has always been a core part of Lowe’s culture and values. With your help, we’re proud to continue that focus on safe, affordable housing; skilled trades and workplace development; military support and disaster preparation, recovery and relief.
To celebrate this centennial milestone, we’re inviting our associates, customers and you, our valued partner, to nominate a hometown project in need of repair, restoration, beautification or improvement. We know how knowledgeable you are when it comes to the forgotten corners of our hometowns and the possibilities each of them holds. Neighborhood parks that have lost their shine, blocks of homes that have fallen on hard times, or community centers that have lost their vitality – these are the places where we have made a difference in the past, and now we want to make a difference as part of our 100th birthday celebration.
We encourage you to dream big and nominate a project that’s close to your own hearts. Please share this opportunity with your organization, your volunteers, your neighbors and friends, so they can nominate their hometowns as well.
Thank you for your partnership – today and every day. Lowe’s 100 Hometowns Program is just one example of our belief in the power of possibility, and our unwavering commitment to making homes better for all, now and for the next 100 years.
